SchoolBOX has hosted 7 Soccer Dreams tournaments since their inception. These tournaments are meant to make learning fun for the students in our partners schools.

For many children in Central America, soccer is the number one past time. Kids spend hours kicking around balls made from everything from plastic bottles to old clothing. The opportunity to play soccer with a real ball and an official uniform has been proven to be a powerful incentive for children attend school, and even re-enroll.

SchoolBOX works with their partner schools to run their Soccer Dreams tournaments. Partner schools all receive uniforms, and are able to travel to neighbouring schools to partake in a day long tournament. The winning schools receive trophies and medals for their efforts.

The combination of soccer, travel, and school spirit is a winning combination for the children of Nicaragua. It makes school FUN!
